The PRS-40 first appeared as a quartz watch in 2014 and proved very popular, selling out quite quckly. It was always the intention to make more but there were many requests for an automatic version, so here it is.
The automatic version is thicker than the quartz version but it is still quite slim for a watch of this type and specification at 12.25mm, especially now that an anti-magnetic movement cover has been added.
A quartz chronograph version of this watch is also in development.
